Four hole sizes, all 915mm wide. The aperture is what decides what passes through and how stiff the mesh sits — smaller holes hold more back and drape more softly, larger holes drain and flow better.

Two ways to buy

By the metre

Cut off the roll to whatever length you need, for a repair, a one-off job or a small run.

Full rolls

30 metre rolls for production work, at a better rate per metre than cut lengths.

What it's used for

Aquaculture — oyster baskets, trays and grow-out, which is where the mesh gets its name.
Screening and guarding — vents, intakes, gutters and openings that need to stay clear of leaves and vermin.
Horticulture — plant and trunk protection, propagation trays, drainage layers.
General fabrication — anywhere a light, rot-proof, non-corroding mesh beats wire.

Why plastic rather than wire

It doesn't rust, so it holds up in salt water and wet ground where galvanised wire gives out. It's light enough to handle in long lengths, it won't sharpen into a hazard as it wears, and it can be cut with a knife or shears on site rather than needing tools.
