Self-closing PVC swing doors for coolrooms, commercial kitchens, hospitals and warehouses. Push through with a trolley, a pallet jack or your hands full, and the door swings shut behind you. Single or double, made to fit the opening, quoted and installed across Adelaide.

A swing door is a pair of flexible PVC panels (or a single panel) hung on self-closing hinges in a frame across the opening. It opens both ways with a push and closes itself, so the opening is shut except while something is going through. The top of the panel is clear, so people can see who is coming the other way, and the lower part can be a tougher coloured panel that takes the knocks from trolleys and feet.
Against a strip curtain, a swing door seals better and looks tidier, and it suits openings where people go through all day with trolleys. Against a solid door, nobody has to stop to open it. Where traffic is mostly forklifts or the opening is very wide, a PVC strip door is usually the better and cheaper choice.
Keeps the cold in between the coolroom and the prep area while staff come and go with stock.
Between the kitchen and the servery or store, so staff push through with full trays and the door shuts behind them.
Theatre entrances, corridors and service areas: hands-free, washable, and you can see through them. The door in the photo is a hospital theatre entrance.
Trolley and pallet jack traffic between the warehouse and a dock, store or chiller.
Swing doors are quoted for each opening. Send us the width and height of the opening, whether it is a coolroom or freezer, what goes through it (people, trolleys, pallet jacks), whether you want one panel or two, and a photo of the doorway if you can, through the quote form, by email to sales@menzelplastics.com.au, or ring (08) 8277 7444. Say whether you want it installed and we quote the installation with it.
