Bought a stocked item and it isn’t right? Ring us. Most of it we sort out over the counter — this page is simply the written version so you know where you stand before you drive over.
Stocked product

- Ask within 30 days of the date on your invoice.
- Talk to us first. Call (08) 8277 7444 or email sales@menzelplastics.com.au and we’ll agree the return before you bring anything back.
- The goods need to be unused, in their original packaging and fit to sell again. We can’t put a marked or opened item back on the shelf.
- A 15% restocking fee applies where you’ve changed your mind. It covers handling the stock back in.
- Returns are taken at the shop — 1249 South Road, St Marys SA 5042. We don’t accept returns by post or courier.
- Bring your invoice or order number with you.
Once it’s back and checked, the refund goes to however you paid, or onto your trade account.
Cut, made and machined work
Anything made to your measurements can’t be returned or refunded — cut-to-size sheet, laser cutting, CNC routing, folded and line-bent parts, signage and strip-door sets cut to a doorway. It was cut for your job and can’t be sold to anyone else. This is the same across the trade.
That’s exactly why we quote first and why the cut planner shows you the sizes and the price before anything is cut. If you’re unsure about a measurement, ring and talk it through with us rather than guessing.
If it’s faulty or we sent the wrong thing
None of the above applies. There’s no time limit, no restocking fee, and it makes no difference whether the item was cut for you.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality. Tell us what’s wrong and we’ll put it right.
Freight
We don’t run a published freight table. If you need something delivered, ask when you order and we’ll arrange it and tell you the cost first. If a return needs to come back by freight, talk to us — we’ll work out the sensible way to do it.
